Stats is the ASUS ROG Summer 2019 StarCraft II Tournament Champion! Incredible performance in the finals with a decisive 4-2 score!
ASUS ROG Summer 2019 ended with a bang in Helsinki as Kim "Stats" Dae Yeob took a dominant 4-1 victory over Kang "Solar" Min Soo in the final. The victor will take home the grand prize of $10,000 USD. Solar did not have much in his sleeve against the "Shield of Aiur" himself as Stats showed he is one of the best Protoss vs Zerg players in the World. The late invite wasn't even originally in the lineup but got a spot as a replacement for SpeCial, took home the trophy Congratulations to Stats!
On the way to the finals Stats faced the hometown hero Joona "Serral" Sotala in a nailbiting series. Stats was able to overcome the crowd's favorite and deny him the final spot. Stats continues his great year with a new title under his belt. Next time we'll see him against the World is naturally GSL vs the World in Seoul, coming up later this month.
