THU 1st - SAT 3rd AUGUST

It’s time to announce the first new invites for the ASUS ROG Summer 2019 StarCraft II Tournament who will join the competition on August 1-3, 2019 in Helsinki.
We are proud to welcome soO and Reynor to ASUS ROG Summer 2019! They both are excellent Zerg players and a great addition to the event. Interestingly, they both have bested the hometown hero Serral this year and are sure to give their all in Helsinki on August 1-3 as well.
Eo Yoon-soo, better known as soO, started this year strongly by taking his first major championship at IEM Katowice after a ton of runner-up placements in premier events. He is a safe bet to enter the finals every time he competes. Few players can achieve the consistency soO has managed to pull off in the midst of the toughest competition in StarCraft II. We’re super excited to have soO for the first time in Finland and in a high caliber ASUS ROG tournament.
Our other invite however, the Italian youngster Riccardo “Reynor” Romiti, played in Finland in 2016 already. At the time, being only 13, he was already a menace but could not take down the final boss Serral in the semifinals. This year Reynor made his mark in the WCS Winter Europe finals where he finally dethroned the Finnish fenom and took home his first major championship. It’s our pleasure to welcome Riccardo back to Finland, stronger than ever, and give him another chance to lift the trophy.
We have now given out all the invites. If you did not receive a message from us, fear not, there are 23 slots open in the total of four online qualifiers tournaments this week. All players in Master or Grandmaster league can sign up in any of the server qualifiers. Just remember that the signup ends one hour before the tournament starts!
Note: The qualifiers only grant a spot in the tournament. Players should cover all their travel and accommodation expenses themselves.
